Today an article got released stating that Dame Jenni Murray has said that “Men who undergo sex change operations cannot be real women, arguing many model themselves on a male view of what a woman should be”.
Dear Jenni Murray, if you feel the need to question a transgender individuals identity then as an equal country maybe we need to question cisgender identities?
Dear Jenni Murray, why are you angry at the transgender people? Would you rather see an individual live a life full of suicidal thoughts, depression, loneliness, isolation and fake? or would you rather see an individual be happy, smiling, laughing, feeling as if everybody around them loves them for them true self, and simply would you rather someone live authentically? I really hope you say yes to the second option, because that is what someone deserves, its a basic human right.
Dear Jenni Murray, being transgender isn’t just about make-up and clothes, it’s about being happy with your body and feeling like you’re 100% yourself.
Dear Jenni Murray, I met India Willoughby in November and she is an absolute inspiration to myself and many others. Imagine being on television on a daily basis as the person you aren’t? You stated that India “Was ignoring the fact that she had lived most of her life enjoying the privileged position in our society generally accorded to a man” – I can say, that India probably didn’t enjoy life, she most certainly felt isolated, depressed and alone. Sorry to break it to you Jenni, but India is female, and shes an amazing woman who has shown courage, commitment and most importantly she has shown that you can do what you love, whilst being different which is important!
Dear Jenni Murray, woman are women regardless of their body parts, if a woman has testosterone pumping through their vains, a beard and they were a dress and they say they are female, then yes, they are female. You cannot tell someone who they cant, and cannot identify as.
Dear Jenni Murray, if a cisgender female was born with a high amount of testosterone does that mean that they are not female?, No. – Remember that.
Dear Jenni Murray, From myself to you, please don’t spread hate, we’re already a community which is targeted on a daily basis because of who we are, and it hurts and its heart breaking. We are trying to live our lives as who we truly are and you are adding to the fuel or transphobia and hate crimes.
Dear Jenni Murray, they are female get used to it.
